Week 13-14
These 2 weeks were the best. Getting to ski for free for class is an experience that no one else gets to have and I think it is really cool how you have us do that. Thanks Sean
Week 12
The visit from the DART guy was interesting. Although I was looking forward to having the helicopter come so we could learn how to make a landing zone but that did not end up happening.
Week 11
Boston. Boston was alright. Worked my ass off, talked to some people, met some people. It pissed me off how the ski and ride kids and the kids from prior practicum classes were not doing anything and just walking around/ going skating in Boston during the day and still getting paid while I was busting my ass but thats life so whatever.
Week 8
Week 8 we went to burke. I have been skiing at burke for 3 years now and I worked there for a winter so I knew what was going on. I was really surprised on how the hotel was coming along but I do not like it. I laughed when that guy said you get the best view from the conference room, when there was an even better view when that thing wasn't there in the first place.

Week 7
Week 7 we went to Stowe to look around. We looked at all the construction that was going on over in the beginner area. We also did the tree top ropes course which was pretty cool. I can imagine how many people must have done it in just the short period that it has been open. They talked to us about all the things they are going to do in the new building that they are putting up and how much it is going to help them in the long run.
Week 6
For week 6 we went to cannon mountain for our trip, walked around the ski museum then we were given a presentation on the history of lifts which was very interesting. We then got to take a close look at the tram terminal and how the tram works. Then we got to take the tram up to the top, we walked around up there and then we left.

Week 5
On Tuesday we meet at the LOC and talked about many things. We discussed one new innovation from every group that we found out about at the trade show at the summit. They were very interesting. We also had to pay attention at the trade show because we had to write a paper on the people that we talked to. Thursday was interesting. We met up with Sandy in Franconia and we talked about the the New England Adapted Sports Partners of the North Country and everything they are about. They bring disabled people skiing, hiking, biking, and much more. Then we were about to use some of the bikes that they use to bring people on bike rides. It was fun to ride around in those things. Then Logan flipped over Alec which was funny. Over all it was a nice trip.

Week 4
Week 4 was very busy. On Tuesday we took a trip to Attitash which was interesting. At first we split up and half of us went to do registration and the other half to help Nick set up some stuff. We got back together got registered and then had lunch. Then we went into sections. Which was different from the last time I was there because last time we saw a key note speaker first and then went into sections. The sections that I went to were kind of boring but I was able to get some information out them. Then we went to the trade show. Despite my jealousy of everyone having good beer I went and talked to many people about snowmaking equipment, lifts, new ski boot technology, marketing. Thursday we took a trip to Bretton Woods to help set up for reach the beach. Again we were split up and I had to help put up banners and do some other things .

Week 3
Week 3 was kind of laid back. Tuesday we all forgot to do our action plans so we all met and then went to finish the action plans. Thursday we just talked about trips next week and what to be prepared for and to also think about some questions to ask people at the Summit.

Week 2
We did not go on any trips during the second week but we did do some planning for the events that we are going to be in charge of. On Tuesday we got into our groups and started to plan the events out on paper. Then all the groups got together and met with the other groups to see who was taking care of what. So after that we had a pretty good understanding of how things were going to happen, but nothing ever goes by how it is planned. Then on Thursday we were given scenarios of people coming to ski resorts and what they would be doing and what departments they would be seeing throughout the day. Then we were given a twist in the story and we were asked how we would handle the situation.

Team Building
I thought that the team building things that we did were fun. I really enjoyed the game with the string and the washer. I thought it was cool how by looking at some people you were able to tell who had it and who didn't. My favorite was putting people on the A frame. It was interesting to see how everyone evened out the frame and made it so the person on it didn't fall.
